What is the story behind Night&Day?
Founded by Claudia Urban in 1996 over the "kitchen table", Night&Day rapidly developed into a highly competitive business, moving to larger premises in Degerloch in February 2002. Husband Markus Urban, previously a banker in the property sector, joined the company in 1997.
The business started out with 45 different properties but now registers 690 with approximately 1700 beds. Every day, Night&Day receives over 100 enquiries which are dealt with jointly by the company's 7 members of staff: with or without breakfast, shared kitchen facilities, for just one night or for several months, as required. From a simple guest room to a villa, from 12 to 250 square metres. From a small furnished room via fully equipped single, two or three room flats, a penthouse and even houses. Night&Day also cooperates with guesthouses and hotels and negotiates especially reasonable rates for guests.
What are the advantages of long-term tenancies?
You have a furnished guestroom, an apartment or a flat? Guests stay for anything between 3/4 days and six months or longer. Night&Day books this accommodation according to your specifications. You, the host (landlord), decide when to rent out your rooms and are free to use your property yourself whenever required. The duration of the tenancy is agreed in advance.
Rent is paid in advance by the guest. If you are intending to sell property, Night&Day can also find tenants for the time in which the property is vacant. This guarantees continued income and also ensures that the property can be vacated when a buyer is found.
